GEMS Royal Dubai School is a vibrant, premium British curriculum school, currently educating students from FS1 to Year 8. We are proudly expanding to include a Nursery in January 2026 and Year 9 in September 2026, with a strategic growth plan leading to Year 13. Due to growth, we are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join us as Head of Secondary Science for September 2026. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, have proven success in driving standards and be committed to the pursuit of excellence for all. Job purpose

To lead Science and teach across Key Stage 3 (growing into Key Stage 4 and 5) as a subject specialist enabling an outstanding, holistic, and dynamic experience for our students which lead to exceptionally high outcomes.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Demonstrate exceptional leadership impact, including current knowledge of exam boards and pathways at Key Stage 4 and 5

• Skilfully use student data to optimise progress and personalise learning
• Have a high performance mindset, being reflective and solution focused at all times

• Work effectively with colleagues, students and parents using excellent interpersonal skills
