Job description / Role
Our client, a leading bank in the UAE is recruiting for a Head of Strategy who will be responsible for providing input to the Bank's strategic planning process.
Responsibilities:
Providing input to senior management of the bank on:
Developments in the different segments of the banking markets, globally, regionally and in the UAE
Regulatory and technological developments
Macro and micro economic developments impacting the banking market
Conducting reviews and analytics on the performance of the business and providing strategic initiatives to senior management on:
Potential business opportunities
Identify trends, providing effective solutions and advice to business units
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 12 years' experience as a Strategy and Business Planning professional in the Banking industry
Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics or related field
Chartered Accountancy or MBA (desirable)
Exposure in banking to: Retail, Digital, SME, Corporate, expansion strategies and launching new products
Advanced understanding of financial analysis, modelling and Statistical Analysis
