Job description / Role
As the leader of the strategy & communications team, you will work closely with executive leadership to oversee the development and implementation of the entity's corporate and department strategy as well as the internal and external communication strategy.

A government organisation who are looking to hire a senior level candidate to lead Strategy, Communications and PMO. Reporting directly to the DG, this role offers fantastic exposure and progression.
Description
Strategic Planning
* Provide strategic direction for the office's strategy and operational plan in line with
* overall objectives, vision, and mission
* Create office's strategy, objectives and operational plan and oversee its implementation
* Approve KPI's for the units and its employees and ensure they are in line with overall objectives
Budget Management
* Approve the consolidated budget for the office and submit for review and approval by relevant stakeholders
Corporate Performance Management
* Monitor the office's progress against set targets and ensure milestones are reached in line with overall objectives and operational plan defined
* Engage with the Director General to identify improvement opportunities for the office and report to relevant stakeholders on the activities undertaken by the office
People Management
* Oversee the training and development needs of the office's employees
* Provide input towards the development of office's manpower plan and ensure availability of staff to support the office in meeting its objectives
* Provide constructive feedback and reward performance of office employees

Requirements
* Minimum of 10 year's experience across IPA, financial services, or private equity
* Experience working within the region and exposure to public sector
* Experience from a top-tier consulting firm is a must
* Multi-lingual candidate will be preferred (English, Arabic, other languages)
