Head of Studio Production

Job description / Role

A leading Dubai-based fashion e-commerce platform is currently seeking a Head of Studio Production who will be responsible for managing an in-house studio team of creative specialists (Styling Manager, Stylists, Shoot Coordinators, Photographers, Content Writers and Studio Assistants). This person will be reporting to the Managing Director and accountable for managing and structuring the studio department alongside the flow of incoming products to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for the studio, ensuring daily, weekly and monthly delivery of business targets.
* Continuously look to improve the overall image quality and attractiveness of the brands image output.
* Track and monitor workflow, maintaining a quality control process to ensure all brands are represented within guidelines and with maximum effect.
* Management and leadership of the entire studio inclusive of Styling Manager, Stylists, Shoot Coordinators, Photographers, Retoucher, Content Writers and studio Assistants.
* Ensure smooth running of production process and suggest/create process improvements with a view to surpassing industry standard KPI's whilst continuously looking to improve efficiencies.
* Check for re-shoots, ensuring items that need reshooting are available and are done promptly and efficiently.
* Responsible for the management of the flow of product on to the site with minimum delays and backlogs while ensuring quality standards are maintained
* Manage studio budgets and provide overall management of studio facilities and equipment.
* Strategically plan for future business needs, relating to increased capacity and studio development.
* Motivate the team to deliver productivity to cope with seasonal peaks and business project requirements.
* Enhance the production output to maximise customer experience and sales.
* Monitor sales figures and create solutions for the studio to help push slow sellers.
* Be responsible for quality control at every touchpoint of the studio cycle.
* Manage and monitor all third party or outsourced service providers to agreed SLA's and internal/industry standard KPI's.

Requirements

* Proven experience managing and leading a fast fashion and high volume photo studio whilst delivering to industry standard KPIs.
* Prior budget management experience.
* Delivery on operational efficiency and quality.
* Proven background in managing production processes whilst continuously looking to challenge the status quo.
* Fluency with MIS reporting and data tracking tools.
