Head of Talent Acquisition and Planning

Job description / Role

Gulf Connexions is working with a leading financial institution based in Abu Dhabi who are looking to recruit a Head of Talent Acquisition and Planning to take a strategic approach to the growth of the business. Reporting to the HR Director the incumbent will be required to develop and implement the talent acquisition strategy for the business. You will be required to work closely with the CEO to shape, design, deliver and measure talent and development initiatives across the region.

Responsibilities:
• Effectively articulate a coherent and comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy for the business to anticipate further capabilities required by the institution.
• Responsible for the effective management of the global recruitment and learning and development teams, policies, process and suppliers.
• Ensure achievement of recruitment goals by optimizing the intake process across channels, while maintaining the recruitment spend within budgets.
• Anticipate and understand the talent needs of the company

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of related experience of which a minimum of 4 years should be in a similar position within a similar industry
• University Graduate in Human Resources or equivalent – CIPD/PHR/SPHR
• Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing a talent management strategy on a global scale, preferably within the financial sector
• Experience of leading people and developing key internal and external relationships.
