Our client is a Leading family group based in Abu Dhabi - they're expanding their team and hiring a Head of Tax.

Description

* Lead all aspects of the group's tax strategy, planning, compliance, and reporting across all jurisdictions.
* Ensure timely and accurate tax filings for corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes.
* Manage tax risk and maintain robust internal controls in line with global best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Advise the business on the tax implications of commercial initiatives, M&A transactions, and cross-border operations.
* Monitor and respond to changes in tax legislation, ensuring the business remains compliant and tax-efficient.
* Lead transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and inter-company agreements in collaboration with finance and legal teams.
* Serve as the key point of contact for external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
* Manage tax audits and controversies with a proactive, well-documented approach.
* Partner with the CFO, finance, and legal teams on tax structuring, capital planning, and strategic projects.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team.

Job Offer

* Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Finance or Banking or related
* Professional Tax qualification is preferred
* Ideal candidate has experience dealing with international jurisdictions outside of the Middle East along with this region
