Job description / Role
Purpose: Supervises and manages the Transportation and Traffic Services division which includes roads design, roads safety, and intelligent transportation systems projects. Required to Perform supervisory and administrative oversight on all engineers within the division.
Responsibilities and duties:
-Plan, organise, review and supervise deliverables for the division and all employees.
- Manage the preparation of technical and financial proposals
- Manage client and subcontractors
- Manage a team and head up appraisals, performance development, promotions and new hires.
Requirements
Education:
- Essential- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
- Desirable- Masters in a related field
Work Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years in road design and safety engineering in either public or private sectors
- Experience in managing a team of engineers, of all levels
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001
- Strategic management
- Excellent leadership and management competencies
Software experience:
- AutoCAD
- SPSS
- Civil 3D
