Due to the retirement of the current headteacher at the end of the academic year, Haydon School is seeking an experienced and driven senior leader to become the new headteacher from September 2026.

Haydon School is a single academy trust and a true state comprehensive school, whose vision is to enable every single student, regardless of their background or ability, to develop academically and as an individual.

The school is at an exciting stage of its journey, and the new headteacher will have excellent foundations on which to build upon; a passionate, dedicated and skilled staff, a student body full of potential, experienced and supportive governors, and a parent body and community who are so important to Haydon.

The governors want the new headteacher to have the skills and drive to continue the fantastic work the school already does, and to continue to develop it further into the future.
