Health Science Teacher

Job description / Role

Are you an experienced Health Science teacher experience teaching grade 10 - 12 students.

Alderwood are representing a large and successful teaching organization that is responsible for running a large number of private schools in the Middle East. We are looking for a large number of experienced and qualified Health Science teachers to join them in August 2017.

You will be responsible for providing high quality teaching and learning support to students aged 14-18 years old by conducting sound competency assessments with your discipline. You are also required to provide administrative, promotional and other support to ensure the effective functioning of the company.

As a Teacher of HECMA you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who consistently demonstrates the highest standards of delivery. You will be fully committed to raising attainment and acutely aware of the strategies required to achieve the highest standards.

The teacher of HECMA Should:
- Conduct themselves in an exemplary manner at all times.
- Be a positive role model to students.
- Possess outstanding subject knowledge.
- Teaching students according to their educational needs, including the appropriate setting and marking of work.
- Personalising the learning experience to meet the specific needs of all students.
- Using a variety of delivery methods, which will stimulate learning that is appropriate to student needs and meets the demands of the HECMA syllabus.

Requirements

- Relevant degree from an accredited higher education institution.
- Teaching and / or recognized assessor qualification (eg PGCE, Cert.Ed. A and V awards)
- Membership of professional association, Institute or body
- IELTS 7.0 Academic for non-Native English speakers.
