Healthcare Logistics Manager (3PL 3rd Party Logistics)

Job description / Role

A Healthcare company located in Dubai is looking for a talented, experienced supply chain professional to establish a 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) operation. The role will initially be primarily focused on conducting evaluations of logistics service providers, selection of warehouse locations, last mile services and capability assessments.

After a logistics provider has been selected, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing operational management processes, systems integration, developing key performance indicators, training 3PL teams and the overall establishment, operational launch and management of the 3PL supply chain operation.

• You are a professionally qualified Logistics and supply chain professional with 10+ years management experience in the middle east, preferably Dubai.
• Your career history will show roles of growing responsibility with Multi-National and Healthcare experience being an advantage.
• You will have demonstrable experience of establishing a logistics operation or 3PL in the UAE, of designing work plans, workflows and processes by which the operation was managed.
• Direct experience managing Healthcare vendors and an existing network of industry contacts will be viewed highly supporting your application.

Salary:
AED 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The successful candidate will:
• Oversee 3PL evaluations resulting in selection of services provider
• Communicate and help develop necessary policies and procedures to aide in project establishment and execution.
• Collaborate with technical training teams on creation and rollout of educational materials for 3PL staff.
• Develop, facilitate and track KPI's
• Design and analyse performance and predictive reporting for logistical and operational initiatives.
• Track progress of action plans, present outcomes to the organisation leadership team and 3PL vendor partners
• Monitor integrity, security and efficiency through routine audits, report findings to key stakeholders
• Additional operations and logistics management tasks and initiatives defined by management
