Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for the following Heart of the House areas (in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, administration, safety & security, inspection, etc.):

- Heartist's Cafeteria (Al Diyafah)
- Male & Female Heartist's Locker Rooms and Changing Areas
- Smoking and Recreational Areas
- Receiving Area
- Entire Corridors and Notice Boards
- Ensures the food temperatures, storage and quality are up to the standards (ISO and HACCP implementation) and adhering to the local legal regulations.
- Drives and implements ALLSAFE protocols for all Heartists.
- Liaises and coordinates with the hotel's Security, Talent & Culture and Housekeeping leaders.
- Administers all the mandated documentation for various internal and external inspections.
- Helps and assists the Hotel Manager and Head of Departments to drive optimum quality and efficiency in their respective operations.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Should have very good time management skills
- Should have up-to-date knowledge of the new rules & regulation.
- To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
- To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image, Heartists & business partners.
- To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
- To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.

OCCASIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- To report any equipment failures/problems related to staff accommodation/cafeteria to the Maintenance Department.
- To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.
- To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
- To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self control.
- To participate in providing and receiving constructive criticism concerning the Department as a whole, in order to improve efficiency, productivity.

HYGIENE/PERSONNEL SAFETY/ENVIRONMENT

- To be fully aware and conversant of Accor spirit, values and goals and is responsible to integrate them in the day to day operation.
- Ensures the due application of rules and regulations concerning health and safety.
- Ensures respect of the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter".

REPORTING LINE

- Reports to the Hotel Manager.

Requirements

PROFILE

- Fluent in English. Knowledge in additional language is definitely an advantage.
- Previous experience in a multicultural environment in UAE is essential.
- Bachelor degree.
