Apt Resources is currently seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at the Royal Palace in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in ensuring that all heavy equipment and machinery used within the palace grounds are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring safety and operational efficiency. As a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a skilled team and manage the maintenance schedule for all heavy equipment, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of heavy equipment and machinery within the royal estate.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment, implementing effective repair solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the maintenance department.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance, repairs, and safety regulations.
• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in heavy machinery.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
• Prior experience in a prestigious or high-profile environment is a plus.

Benefits

Salary package is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 plus free accommodation, food, toiletries, and all other benefits as per UAE labor law.
