Hiring for Joinery Detailer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Joinery Detailer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing detailed woodworking drawings and plans that facilitate the fabrication and installation of high-quality joinery work for our prestigious projects. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Review architectural and design drawings to understand project requirements for joinery works.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication details, and assembly plans using CAD software to ensure precise execution.
- Coordinate with design teams, site engineers, and fabricators to resolve technical issues and optimize joinery solutions.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, quality standards, and industry codes throughout the detailing process.
- Maintain clear documentation and revisions of drawings to assist production and installation teams.
- Assist in material specification and quantity estimation related to joinery elements.
- Visit project sites occasionally to understand practical installation challenges and provide technical support.

- Proven experience as a Joinery Detailer or similar role within construction or interior fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or related joinery detailing tools.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery construction methods.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a proactive attitude.
- Relevant educational background in carpentry, interior design, or technical drawing is preferred.
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is a plus.

Salary:
AED 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
