Repton Al Barsha is looking for a passionate and dedicated full time HLTA to join the Junior School for a January 2026 start.

About Repton Al Barsha

Repton Al Barsha currently educates students from Nursery (FS1) to Year 11 and will be growing year on year through to Year 13.

We are a well-resourced Apple Distinguished School with exceptional sporting facilities, seeking to achieve the best from every pupil both academically and in extra-curricular activities which is a key aspect of the school program.

The school was rated very good with several outstanding features in the most recent DSIB inspection.

Role and responsibilities

• Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of teaching and learning opportunities
• Prepare the classroom and resources for lessons
• Support all groups of students to raise attainment and progress both individually and in groups
• Observe student performance and report on observations to the teacher
• Facilitate learning through play
• Work in collaboration and communicate with parents
• Assist with excursions and events such as Sports Day

Required qualifications and skills

• Level Cache 5 qualification
• Education or Early Childhood qualifications would be an advantage
• Positive outlook and mindset
• Commitment and understanding of wellbeing of others as well as themselves
• Fluent and proficient spoken, written and reading of English
• Clear and effective communication
• Compassionate and nurturing, with a sense of humour and fun
• Two years' experience working in a school setting
