Taaleem is looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate homeroom teacher for a 7-month contract to join our Taaleem Ajyal Schools Wadi Al Helo.

Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification/license.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in recognised school/international school environments preferred.

  • Outstanding practitioner in the classroom
  • Previous successful teaching/lecturing experience
  • Experience of working with DSIB, OFSTED or similar school inspection authority
  • Experience of working in an international school setting preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of contemporary educational research
  • Knowledge and understanding of current educational developments in the UAE preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, including high standards of professionalism in written and spoken English
  • Organised and works to deadlines
  • Ability to engage and motivate people to enable them to perform highly

What we offer

Teaching staff are offered two-year contracts, which can be extended by further periods of up to two years, on the recommendation of the principal.

Salaries are awarded on the basis of experience and qualifications and will be appointed to a specific point on the Taaleem’s salary scale. We regularly review our salary scales, which are structured to enable ongoing development and progression.

Taaleem provides medical insurance to all employees under its sponsorship, during their employment, as per the UAE Labour Law. The insurance will cover the medical expenses within defined individual annual limits and as per the terms and conditions of the prevailing medical insurance policy.
