Homeware and Kitchenware Designer

Job description / Role

Quest Search and Selection is working with a leading retail business and they’re currently looking for a highly skilled and creative Homeware and Kitchenware Designer to be based in Dubai. The Homeware and Kitchenware Designer will play an integral role in a team of creative professionals to enhance and grow new ventures.

Core Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the product development team to design, source and create new items and ranges;
• Researching theme concepts and market trends;
• Receive, review and submit product samples before signing off and production;
• Producing detailed, final hand drawings and specifications or, more likely, using dedicated computer software to produce design specifications;
• Conduct proposals to Senior Design Management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
• 4+ years of experience (preferably as a Homeware and Kitchenware Designer) in a similar role/field;
• In depth knowledge of CAD software / Adobe Suite;
• Keen interest and passion for trends, design, and art
• Highly-creative individual;
• Self-motivated, independent and excellent communication skills
