Job description / Role
Job Responsibilities
- Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners and informs the manager to coordinate the needed preparations.
- Greets arriving customers with a friendly and welcoming approach, seats them, and provides menus as they wait for the waiter or waitress to serve them.
- Provides support in inspecting the serving stations in the dining area to ensure neatness and cleanliness.
- Directs and instructs waiters and waitresses on customer needs to ensure customers receive fast and quality service from the moment they arrive.
Prepares the workstation, maintains an organized reservation book, and always makes sure the menus are wiped down, free of spots or stains, and complete.
Qualifications
- High school degree.
- One year of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English.
