Hostess up to 2.2k Aed for a 4-Star Hotel in Downtown Dubai

• POSITION: Hostess
• SALARY: 2,200 AED depending on experience and qualifications plus service charge, accommodation, transportation, duty meals and other benefits
• HIRING COMPANY: 4-Star Hotel
• WORK LOCATION: Downtown, Dubai
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1-month)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Male/Female 35 years old and below

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary.
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
• Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas.
• Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
• Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
• Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
• Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
• Providing great customer service.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience preferably from a hotel set-up
• Pleasing personality with Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong listening, presentation and social skills
• Ability to provide top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
• Customer-oriented approach; outgoing and friendly personality
