Employment: Full Time

Female House Manager/Butler for a private house in Abu Dhabi.

The general responsibilities will be Overseeing the smooth running of the house and ensuring good general upkeep of the House, and the house member being served properly according to their requirement and assure that they are satisfied. And maintenance of the property and land.

Also, the House Manager/Butler shall supervise other household staff. Just to ensure their work is up to a high standard in regards to housekeeping, washing clothes, cleaning the house, preparing the food, and have the right menu of food to satisfy the house member. General administration and managing budgets and maintain the inventory in house according to the requirement.

Manage the maids and the drivers and the house staff, and sort out what ever issues they have.

The responsibility is combine Butler and House Manager, or Housekeeper.

Some typical duties can include:
• Take care of the house member especially the older ones.
• Maintain schedule of the house members, and made a schedule for the house kids, and ensure they are following the schedule.
• Ensuring the household/estate and grounds are run smoothly and efficiently at all times
• Supervising and managing other staff members
• Organising and liaising with outside contractors
• Training other staff members
• Organising and overseeing maintenance of the property
• Ensuring the property is secure at all times
• Organising family and household events
• Greeting and caring for guests and visitors
• Serving drinks and food
• Chauffeur duties
• Housekeeping duties
• Running errands and shopping
• Taking responsibility for the household inventory. Also ensuring that supplies are always replenished
• Answer the telephone and door
• Arrange entertainment for social gatherings and events
• Be in charge of the budgets of the household
• Make travel and holiday arrangements
• Packing of luggage
• Recruit and interview for new staff
• Maintain records where needed
• Perform any other tasks, within reason, required by the employer

Requirements

Experience

• Working in large properties or estates
• Looking after multiple properties
• Managing other staff
• Working in properties overseas
• Working in Commercial or Hotel settings.
