Job description / Role
This is a Personal PA role and supports a UHNW family with extensive business interests across the GCC region and into Europe. This role will work directly for the female Principle of the family and incorporate full personal assistance to her, encompassing managing multiple households internationally, including full responsibility for household staff; private travel for the immediate and extended family; diary management and personal requests. There are considerable scale, private events held at the various residences and you will work closely with the Principle and various other members within the Households to ensure successful management from inception to completion.
Additionally, the Principle has business interests of her own and the Personal Assistant will be required to work in a corporate capacity in the office and manage and assist in establishing new ventures. Phone availability is required at all times and there will be travel with the family on occasion.
As previously mentioned, there will also be extensive property and portfolio management and you will required to oversee the Dubai household management as well as administer service requirements for the houses both locally and overseas. Additionally, manage petty cash, maintenance etc as well as being responsible for a teams of staff members (sick leave, holiday pay, tickets home, salaries, hiring, visas, medical insurance. etc). You will be responsible also management of bank accounts, car fleet management and travel arrangements, whether on private jet or commercial aircraft.
The successful candidate will have outstanding analytical, operational, and organizational skills, be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and be degree educated. The Principle expects a high level of reporting, hence complex MS Excel particular is particularly important. Excellent linguistic skills in both Arabic and English are paramount, as is a demonstrated career history in similar roles. Significant responsibility is entrusted to this individual and discretion, tact and diplomacy must be displayed at all times
