You’ll work, and live, in one of the top Royal Palaces in the Gulf, ensuring that they’re presented to their best for colleagues, guests and, of course, the Royal Family. Aiming for the highest standards, you’ll clean and care for interiors and items from carpets and furniture to historic vases and irreplaceable paintings. You’ll take care of guests and support special events too. And, in an environment where development and training is commonplace, you’ll be able to grow your skills far beyond your immediate role.

Requirements

In addition to general housekeeping tasks the housekeeper duties in the Palace will include:
• Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms
• Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand
• Replace dirty linens with clean items
• Inspect and turn mattresses regularly
• Store all dirty laundry in line with Palace policy
• Monitor guest laundry bags
• Replace laundry bags and slips
• Check all appliances in rooms are in working order
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
• Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
• Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
• Follow all safety and security procedures
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Observe and report damages.
• Housekeeping or hospitality experience would be an asset, but is by no means essential. We’re more interested in your outstanding team working skills.
• Excellent communication skills mean that you can adapt effectively to any occasion.
• Professional Qualification or experience in Hospitality Management, previous 5 star hotel housekeeping.

• Have served in Diplomatic service, Royalty or Famous VIP.
• Or exceptional candidates with interesting backgrounds-
• Must have diplomacy, and a strong sense of Duty.
• Housekeeping requires exceptional cleaning methods along with a high attention to detail, perfectionism and getting the job done well.
