Housekeeping Coordinator

Job description / Role

Key tasks:

Main Responsibilities:
- Under the general direction of HK Manager and within the limits of established hotel's policies and procedures, responsible to coordinate the Housekeeping Department and updated via notice board, standard reports and communication to the respective area.
- Is incharge to ensure the coordination of the HK department is monitored and kept updated via notice boards, standard reports and communication to the respective areas as per hotel standards.
- Ensuring all requests to the HK department is handled in an efficient and correct manner as per hotel standards.
- To be entirely cooperative with the different sub departments of Rooms Division or any other Department of the Hotel as assigned and perform all duties and tasks when rotated or assigned to another department
- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of Rooms related service and product.
- To be fully conversant with all services, activities, facilities and F&B Promotions offered by the hotel and recommend to the guests.
- Strive for constant improvement and take responsibility for your own performance
- Report problems to Management with suggestions for resolution
- Ensure that your work quality meets the standards required and complete tasks in a timely and thorough manner with minimum supervision

Requirements

Skills:
- Level of Education Vocational education Areas of study Hospitality Management Professional experiences 1 to 2 years Languages essential English

Essential and optional requirements:
- Desired candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in similar role in Hospitality industry
- Should possess a harmonious attitude in a multi-cultural team to reach the set goals of the department.
- The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a passion for service quality and excellence.
