What you will be doing:

- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
- Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Ensure employees are informed daily about priorities to personalize service
- Communicates new or amended procedures to relevant departments/colleagues in a timely manner, ensuring they have been understood and followed.
- Conducts training and re-training of colleagues in accordance with Hotel policy.
- Assists the Housekeeping Managers in project such as guestroom decoration, rehabilitation and special maintenance works.
- Assist in the building of an efficient team of colleagues by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development so ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Service focused personality is essential
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role in a 4 or 5 star hotel property is an asset
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekend
