HR Advisor - Dubai

Reporting to the Head of HR for the EMEA region, this role also works closely with the International HR Advisor (both of whom are based in the UK) and Team Leaders in Dubai and Doha in providing HR support on all aspects of operational HR within the Firms Middle East offices. The HR Advisor is responsible for establishing strong relationships with relevant stakeholders within the region, ensuring an excellent quality and coverage of HR support at all times whilst being the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational matters.

Main responsibilities include employee relations by acting as first point of contact to support managers and provide proactive support with regards to recruitment of support staff across the region.

You will act as the main HR point of contact for all new starter administration with the support of HR shared services and the Administration Manager. Additionally you will take responsibility for ensuring monthly HR processes and procedures are followed and actively seek to implement improvements whenever possible.

There will be coordination of monthly processes and support for annual promotion procedures to ensure all is done in a timely manner together with annual appraisal systems, nominations and 360 reviews.

Requirements

Our client is seeking at least three years HR generalist experience and a sound understanding of UAE legislation and procedures. Additionally key skills are a robust working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice, experience of advising Managers on policies and procedures in a supportive manner, a professional services background and good listening and problem solving skills.
