Job description / Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR and Administration Manager to join our team in the interior design and build industry in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the human resources and administrative functions of the organization, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and providing strategic support to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent, including managing job postings, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs for new hires.
- Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee performance management processes, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Organize training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs.
Administrative:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring efficient and effective office management.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance.
- Coordinate and supervise administrative staff and their activities.
- Ensure the smooth running of office facilities, including maintenance and liaising with external service providers.
- Handle correspondence, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and conferences.
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR and Administration Manager or similar role in the interior design and build industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Experience in implementing HRIS and other relevant software is a plus.
- Certification in HR management or related field is preferred.
