Job description / Role
Client is a leading financial services organisation are currently recruiting for an HR coordinator to assist in a busy Human Resources department. This is a 6 month contract with a potential extension. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong administration background who is keen to break into HR.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following
- Responds to employee inquiries on related HR topics such as benefits, compensation, payroll, etc.
- Composes routine and non-routine correspondence as directed
- Establishes and maintains department records and confidential files; generates standard letters and forms; maintains hold file/diary system and follows-up as appropriate
- Administers employment tests; requests and reviews background checks
- Develops presentation materials for department personnel.
- Acts as liaison with other departments as needed, such as IT regarding technical issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have a strong administration background. Experience in HR is advantageous but not essential. You must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and hold a high school diploma (minimum education requirement).
