Charterhouse is working exclusively with one of the most innovative Food Supply Organizations in the world. This role is available due to extensive growth plans and our client is seeking an exceptional HR Director/Head of HR who can also play a key role in the management strategy of the business.
The principal responsibilities for this role are to develop a strategic HR plan that will help the business drive forward its growth and this will be achieved by working through manpower requirements vis-a-vis business plans with line managers, generating and implementing resourceful means to increase headcount and managing a plan for new employee induction and orientation at all levels. You will facilitate the performance management process as well as implement HR policies and procedures to ensure better control over costs and quality. The role will be pivotal in implementing HR and training practices appropriate to an organization which values diversity and work-life balance.
To be considered for this role you will be Degree educated and will have ideally worked in a Retail or FMCG environment for 6 to 10 years working in a similar role, preferably with experience working in the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong or Europe. International work experience will give you a great insight into the business needs and global growth plans which you will be heavily involved with. You will possess excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills to deal with colleagues at all levels. You will be knowledgeable of current and upcoming UAE employment legislation and have impeccable organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, while managing a large workload and meeting deadlines. Ideally you need to be someone who understands that an organization's people are the backbone to its growth and that HR is key to the success of expansion. Professionalism, confidence and the ability to work in a strong team culture will be the key to winning this job. Due to potential travel in this role, our client has requested only Native English Speakers and a preference for a female for this role.
