Expectations and Tasks

- A strategic partner to the respective executive and management team members in MENA and the RHQ in the UAE , and the primary face to the customer
- The primary role is "orchestration and alignment"; having the "know-how" to bring HR services/programs to the customer to solve a business problem and ensuring managers are aligned with region, people and business strategies to develop the organization to its optimal level. Regions may also have enhanced focus on a given HR topic to address a unique need.
- Works closely with the BA HRBPs, to execute the strategy by delivering services and project support locally. For managers with global teams, act as a global HRBP and coordinates with country HRBPs as needed.
- Handles employee/labor relations matters, in addition to acting as a coach/counsel to employees and managers in highly sensitive, confidential or complex situations. Collaborates with existing social partners, where appropriate.
- Defines the people strategy for the Region/Country together with business stakeholders to ensure business success, Owns and drives key strategic people initiative on regional/country level depending on the specific needs (diversity hiring, early talent retention, coaching culture)
- Acts as orchestrator to drive the global HR strategy in the region/country and has the overall responsibility for all HR services/Team and hot topics in the region including but not limited to : HRBP, TA, HR Ops, TR etc to ensure best value to the business and customer experience.
- Collaborates with key business stakeholders to manage workforce and pay planning and execution (Controlling, Sales Ops, finance)
- Participates or owns regional global projects/programs to accelerate regional HR people plan
- As a people manager, you are responsible for supporting the success of not only your direct reports, but the success of all employees within the larger team you are a part by helping to identify development opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals. You are expected to know about the members of your extended team and share insights with your peer managers. Look for opportunities to coach and recognize employees directly and provide just-in-time feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately.

Requirements

Experience and education

- At least 10 years overall working experience, at least 5 years management experience or in an HRBP position or comparable working experience
- Experience in different areas of HR preferred such as a COE or HR Shared Services
- Bachelor or Master's degree
