HR Generalist

Job description / Role

The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing and executing HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the organization's goals. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the recruitment and selection process including coordinating job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, administrative work regarding scheduling interviews with the hiring team, conducting interviews.
• Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
• Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records.
• Oversee and manage performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violates rules & regulations and addressing employee grievances.
• Generating official internal documents such as appointment letters and warning letters.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
• 7+ years of experience as a HR Generalist in Construction company, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
