About the Company
Quest Search & Selection is looking for a dynamic HR Generalist for a market-leading retail company to be based in Dubai, UAE. The business is well-established within its sector and is considered as a major player within the retail industry. They seek an innovative HR professional with a strong Retail background.
As the HR Generalist, your responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Provide support to employee onboarding and help plan training & development;
* Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees;
* Develop job descriptions for various positions and determine appropriate base pay;
* Support managers in their decisions about compensation packages and ways to motivate employees;
* Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; conduct new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program; and writes and places advertisements;
* Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies;
* Preparation of regular audits and reports for information storage reasons;
* Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database

Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (HR Generalist)
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as an HR Generalist, specializing in Compensation & Benefits and Employee Relations;
* Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures;
* Good analytical skills and, at best, experience with quantitative data collection;
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and HRIS;
* Degree in business / finance / HR management
