Job description / Role
This hands on and proactive HR Manager role is for a new organisation in Dubai within the motor insurances and aggregates industry. The MD is a young entrepreneur and has a very clear vision and growth plan for the business, based in the Business Bay area of Dubai. He is an extremely people centric individual and therefore wishes to instill this ethos into the successful HR Manager incumbent.
As the first person to join the company within a HR capacity you will be solely responsible for all HR policy and procedural implementations. You will therefore be an organised and self-motivated HR individual and be fully conversant with all UAE labour laws and compliance. You will offer your expertise to the MD in all aspects of personnel, from recruitment and onboarding through to learning and development of all employees for this SME. It is expected that the new HR Manager will manage all recruitment for the business immediately and therefore be fully involved and take a hands-on approach. This is not a role for a strategic HR Manager- this role initially requires the successful candidate to be instrumental in the development of the HR function and wider business as it grows. In addition, this does mean that there are fantastic growth opportunities into a more senior role for the future in order to assist with strategic decisions from a HR capacity. The ideal candidate will have an extremely positive outlook and work to ensure best practices are implemented efficiently and to support all employees across all levels of seniority. You will handle the HR department in a professional manner and strive to ensure the company becomes an employer of choice for the future.
Candidates are expected to currently be in a mid-level or HR Manager role and seeking a highly diverse, hands on challenge, where they can add their own value and expertise for maximum impact. Those with a relevant HR qualification, such as CIPD are considered highly advantageous, alongside excellent communication skills to native English standard.
