Irwin & Dow require a highly competent, people centric HR Manager for a customer focused organisation. Our client wishes to reward its loyal and dedicated team with a robust and motivating compensation & benefits and learning & development strategy for the future. The Managing Director and Owner of the business wants to obtain an award for the “Best Place to Work” in 2020 and has a very creative and determined approach to achieve this.

Therefore, the HR Manager will be involved in a full review of current policies and strategies with people and culture in mind. You will of course be involved in the recruitment, onboarding, disciplinary, off boarding and day to day HR management tasks but at the core of this role will be employee engagement and learning and development. It is expected that you will develop and enhance the employee benefits to continue to attract and maintain a diverse and motivated work force and have a firm grasp on the employment market with regards to salary benchmarking and benefits. Leading the bi-annual performance management review to identify those employees whom are ready for promotion and career development is also a key aspect of this role and it is expected that key matrix will be introduced to measure employee satisfaction, happiness and retention levels. The HR Manager will also develop, implement and deliver a learning and development strategy of in-house training to develop the team’s knowledge and wider skills and create and foster a continuous learning environment that is both challenging and fit for purpose. Working closely with the Managing Director you will take full responsibility for all data gathering, measuring and reporting on a regular basis and its associated analysis in order to create realistic and challenging KPI's for the team at all levels of seniority and experience.

Requirements

This is a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference to the organisation’s workface and culture and it therefore requires an experienced HR individual, with an in depth knowledge of the UAE labor law in order to maximizing learning and development to encourage a positive working culture. As our client provides 24 hour emergency expertise to its clients within the automotive industry, a flexible approach to the role is required. The ideal candidate will be extremely people-centric and understand how to achieve the best results both for the individuals and the company as a whole. It is expected the ideal candidate will be a degree holder or equivalent in HR and a self-motivated and highly energized individual with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar HR role.
