Charterhouse is working with a well-established and privately owned food production company who is looking to hire a proven HR Manager. Due to the nature of the role, our client is looking to hire candidates that are immediately available.
For this full time permanent role, it is absolutely crucial that you have had prior experience of covering visa processes and HR policies specific to the UAE for a credible organisation, ideally with experience in the food production sector. You will act as head of department and shall have at least five years of UAE specific HR experience to offer to the role. You will oversee and manage a variety of HR administrative duties to support the business in addition to leading a HR team of five. You will also act as the central point of contact for the office when it comes to on-boarding, off-boarding, case handling and visa processing.
You will be required to oversee the management of various HR projects integral to the business and there will therefore be a need to report back to senior stakeholders within the company. The role will have extensive involvement in the training aspects of new starters and you should feel comfortable in your level of experience within the learning and development aspect of HR.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be highly numerate and able to remain well organised even when working under pressure. Whilst Arabic would be advantageous, however it is not essential. It is vital, however, that you have a high standard of written and spoken English. You will possess UAE specific HR experience of at least five years within a Food Production or FMCG environment.
In character, you will be confident and motivated. You will be able to instill professionalism in your colleagues and will have fantastic stakeholder management capabilities. You will already be residing in Dubai and will ideally be immediately available to join the team. Due to the remote location of the office, you will need to possess a full UAE driving license and access to your own vehicle.
