Role Purpose

To support the Employee Relations (ER) function by coordinating employee relations activities, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies, and maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture across the bank.

Key Accountabilities of the Role

1. Employee Relations Support:
Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, grievances, and workplace concerns. Assist in the investigation and resolution of employee complaints and disciplinary cases. Maintain accurate and confidential ER case records.

2. Policy and Compliance:
Prepare reports and documentation related to employee relations cases, warnings, and investigations.

3. Engagement and Communication:
Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, communication, and workplace morale. Assist in organizing employee feedback sessions, surveys, and recognition programs. Maintain positive working relationships between HR, management, and staff.

4. HR Administration:
Maintain up-to-date employee relations metrics and reports for management. Support exit interviews and analyze trends to reduce turnover and improve satisfaction. Participate in HR audits and ensure compliance documentation is complete. Responsible for approving leave on the system. Control the time attendance reports if any misuse occurs. Receive mobility requests. End of service (EOS) calculation.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Solid understanding of UAE Labor Law.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for This Role

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
