As an HR Policy Expert, you will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies in alignment with the vision of Abu Dhabi and the organisation's strategic goals, ensuring compliance with legal standards and enhancing governance practices.

This is a government organisation exploring a broad range of new strategic initiatives for Abu Dhabi to create a lasting impact.

Description

- Conduct benchmarking and research on policy best practices, trends, and technologies to support continuous policy improvement and innovation.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather insights, address concerns, and foster collaboration in policy creation and refinement.
- Oversee policy alignment with UAE and Abu Dhabi strategies, laws, and regulations, ensuring policies are current, relevant, and legally compliant.
- Collaborate with the Legal and Data Management teams to ensure policies are documented, aligned with legislation, and data-informed for strategic decision-making.
- Lead policy implementation and evaluation, including establishing feedback mechanisms, monitoring effectiveness, and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Ensure effective communication of policies to internal and external stakeholders through organised working groups, committee meetings, and regular updates.
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate regulatory reports on policy development to leadership and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and transparency

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in policy design, development and implementation within large scale organisations in the government or private sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in research and benchmarking to identify best practices and innovative solutions in policy development.
- Strong legal acumen and regulatory awareness, with a solid understanding of compliance requirements.
- Proficient in policy analysis and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and legal standards.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with proven experience collaborating with diverse groups to support policy initiatives.
