Job overview

We're looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our Emiratisation team on a temporary basis, playing a key role in supporting the delivery of impactful projects and initiatives that drive the national talent agenda across the Emirates Group. As part of the HR function, this role will contribute to the design, execution, and adoption of Emiratization-related programmes that enhance the employee experience, support career development, and align with the Group's strategic priorities.

As the HR Project Specialist, you are responsible for a dynamic portfolio of projects across Emirates Group from inception to successful implementation and adoption. Manage internal and external stakeholders including customers and vendors.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a number of strategic business projects across Emirates Group in compliance with practices, standards, and processes defined by departmental and corporate Project Management Office guidelines
  • Organise multiple projects and priorities by breaking them down into a project plan, assessing how much effort a particular task or project is going to take, and assign resources accordingly
  • Lead, inspire, and motivate diverse and cross-functional team members, assess performance, and coach or support them
  • Resolve differences across the different stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide insight in the project area and pull together best practices and subject matter experts to help drive solutions to problems
  • Review strategic project portfolio providing insights on progress and performance to enable management decisions
  • Commit to ensuring project deliverables are met and recognise when alternatives need to be considered and change approach when necessary
  • Assess the impact of change, risks, and interdependencies and develop change management plan to ensure successful delivery

Qualifications & experience

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business Administration, IT, Engineering, Economics, or Sciences (preferred)
  • 6-8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: project management, business improvement or productivity, management consultancy, or technology

You'll have an edge if you have:

  • Experience in HR-related projects and initiatives, with strong business acumen and understanding of organisational challenges and cross-functional dependencies
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and facilitate dialogue at all levels, including senior executives
  • Advanced skills in planning and organizing, communication, data collection, and analysis
  • Proficient in budgeting, business case development, cost control, and professional writing
  • CAPM, PMP, or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification preferred; Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus
