Job description / Role
• Liaise with line managers to discuss job requirements and applicant qualifications and collect other relevant information regarding new requisitions
• Source the right talent from various sources
• Ensure applicant’s background and qualifications are in alignment with job requirements by facilitating the appropriate pre-employment screening and paperwork processes.
• Communicate with applicants and candidates regarding consideration for employment, the specifics of the role, and job offers.
• Issue offers of employment and liaise with candidate through hiring process
• Create and maintain recruitment database to enable effective monitoring of recruitment activities.
• Perform job evaluation and internal equity analysis
• Develop forward looking recruitment plans based on staffing needs and select appropriate methods for execution
• Perform ad hoc HR/Recruitment tasks as per management requests
• Provide advice to line managers on people management and related HR practices, policy and employment law.
• End to end case management of disciplinary issues and grievances
• Measure employee retention and turnover rates
• Responsible for onboarding of new employees
• Assist Head of HR on HR projects
Requirements
• Knowledge of MEP/EPC industry
• Thorough understanding of the HR and Recruitment function and how it supports a fast paced growing business
• Has a good understanding of employment laws that frequently impact the workplace
• Highly pro-active & customer centric attitude
• Ability to prioritize & multitask
• Very well structured, organized, and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Confident and skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• 5+ years of experience with proven track record ideally gained within a MEP, EPC or Energy sector.
• Degree from a recognized university preferably in HR, Business or related field
