HSE Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Engineer to join our dynamic Oil & Gas team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will champion health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure safe and sustainable operations within our projects.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
- Facilitate HSE training programs and promote a culture of safety awareness among all employees and contractors.
- Monitor compliance with environmental and safety regulations and report on HSE performance indicators.

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
- 5 Years of proven experience as an HSE Engineer within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in the UAE region.
- Strong knowledge of UAE ADNOC safety regulations and international HSE standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, Incident / Accident Investigation are highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
