We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HSE Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management within our organization, ensuring compliance with local regulations and promoting a culture of safety among all employees. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, incident investigation, and the implementation of health and safety policies that align with industry best practices. The HSE Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment while driving continuous improvement in our HSE performance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the organization's HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives in compliance with local regulations and international best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Lead the investigation of incidents and accidents, ensuring that thorough root cause analyses are conducted and corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees at all levels to foster a culture of safety and ensure that everyone understands their responsibilities regarding health and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Prepare and present HSE reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting performance trends, areas for improvement, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in local and international HSE legislation, industry trends, and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to drive continuous enhancement of HSE practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external stakeholders regarding HSE matters.
- Lead emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
