HSE Manager (Deep Tunnel Project) Up To 29k Aed++ for a Construction and Engineering Company in Dubai.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Assist the Project manager in the general supervision of the HSE program
• Provide a dedicated audit and inspection program
• Monitor the implementation of the HSE program
• Monitoring the day-to-day management of Health, Safety and Environmental issues
• Assist Construction Manager, Supervisors and foremen in promoting a preventive approach within their respective work groups
• Execute periodical, audits and inspections on site, and address appropriate corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare audits and inspection formal reports and verify the follow up
• Collaborate closely with Employer’s Representative with regard to HSE
• Monitor regularly the HSE performance through the dedicated KPIs
• Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, to the evolution of the Project
• Update the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessary
• Provide a site HSE Training program
• Coordinate and directly participate, while appropriate, the HSE Training activities on site
• Organize and participate to all relevant site HSE Meetings, prepare the relevant MOM
• Coordinate the PTW procedure
• Keep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must be addressed
• Provide the HSE section of the periodical site and Project report
• Prepare and update the Site HSE Statistics, verify the performance versus the Project and corporate HSE Objective, Targets and performance indicators
• Propose recovery plan in case of deficiencies
Requirements
• POSITION: HSE Manager (Deep Tunnel Project)
• SALARY: up to 29,000 AED depending on experience and qualifications

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to any nationality
• Male, 45 year old and below
• Candidates in the UAE will be highly preferred
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems
• NEBOSH Certificate is a must
• Minimum 20 years of experience in HSE and 10 years working on the similar projects (underground drainage, pump, tunnelling)
• Marine experienced is an advantage
• Project complexity and size will be also considered
• Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, HSE Supervisors, HSE Officers etc.
• Sound understanding of UAE HSE legislative requirements
• Broad knowledge and experience in risk assessments and audit processes
• Able to develop and implement HSE plans
• Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques
• Ability to develop Emergency Response procedures/plans
• Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
• Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications
