Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Assist the HSE manager for directing the resources and activities of the Division to support the HSE programs by providing advice and guidance to the Company Senior Management
• Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the division to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and balances overall associated costs
• Assist the HSE manager for reviewing internal HSE policies, procedures and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments
• Representing the HSE and company in front of the client and authority whenever required.
• Provide appropriate solutions and advices to the HSE Manager beside operation manager, transport and supply chain manager.
• Responsible for ensure the legal requirement relevant HSE and have being implemented and advise to HSE manager in case of any breach.
• Responsible for implementation of an annual HSE training program.
• Responsible for implementation of an annual HSE inspection and audit program.
• Ensure the implementation of waste management program and prepare monthly environment figures.
• Follow up with relevant department to ensure the implementation of EHS objectives and Targets program
• Consultation with the staff for develop risk assessment and risk register
• Report monthly EHS performance report
• Provide regular written reports, as well as other production-related results and updates to the Senior Management Team.
• Assist project team in investigation of all project incidents (GL/WC/Recordable Incidents, near Miss and First Aid) and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
• Assist in implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated throughout the Company and are incorporated into the program, if necessary.
• Actively participate in the scheduling of safety meetings across Company locations to review HSE performance and policies.
• Ensure project sites are in compliance with HSE requirement.
• Ensure the implementation of contractor management requirement
• Compliance with OSHAD, client and SRA requirement.
• Participate/Attend industry related conferences when requested to do so.
• Meet timelines for the development and implementation of the company as per the client, DOT and OSHAD regulatory.
• Actively audit the system to ensure compliance OSHAD, DOT and client.
• Undergo an annual third party external compliance audit and submit results to DOT.

Requirements

• Male candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience within logistics industry
• Very good communication skills
• Nebosh certificate is preferred
• Available in UAE
• Very good Microsoft office skills
