HSE Officer(ADNOC Offshore Approved)

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our team in Al Shalha Island, Hail & Gasha for a 6-month project. This
role offers a competitive salary of AED 9,000 - AED 13,000, based on experience, and requires immediate availability.

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to all HSE processes and procedures
• Implement and enforce HSE plans across various projects, ensuring compliance with client and international safety standards.

Coordinate with engineers and site personnel
• Collaborate with engineers, site personnel, and subcontractors to develop control measures for potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

Communicate hazards and environmental aspects to employees
• Conduct regular hazard assessments and communicate safety protocols and environmental considerations to all employees.

Implement and monitor safe working procedures
• Ensure all safe working procedures are implemented, regularly updated, and strictly adhered to by the workforce.

Verify compliance with safety standards, regulations, and international standards
• Perform audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, relevant regulations, and international best practices.

Conduct HSE audits, safety inspections, and ensure proper maintenance of equipment
• Regularly inspect fire protection and safety equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally and in compliance with safety requirements.

Organize and conduct HSE meetings
• Lead HSE meetings and address any issues raised, ensuring that the HSE framework is continuously improved.

Investigate incidents and dangerous occurrences
• Investigate incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Coordinate with client and consultants for site safety walks, Meetings & Insections.

Provide in-house training and toolbox talks
• Deliver regular training sessions and toolbox talks to ensure all employees are well-versed in safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Monitor hazardous materials inventories
• Oversee the handling and storage of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Motivate employees to adhere to safety protocols
• Foster a strong safety culture within the organization, motivating employees to comply with HSE policies and procedures.

Mandatory Requirements:

ADNOC Approval as HSE Officer and HSE Engineer
• The candidate must have valid ADNOC approvals for both HSE Officer and HSE Engineer roles.

Consent for Offshore Deployment
• Willingness and consent to work in offshore environments as required by the project.

Non-Rotation Availability
• The candidate must be available for a non-rotational period of 3 to 6 months.
• Rotation terms will be subject to approval based on work progress at the site.

Immediate Availability or Able to Join with All Approved Certifications
• The ideal candidate must be immediately available or able to join with all necessary certifications and approvals in hand.

Degree and Relevant Approvals in Hand
• The candidate must possess a degree related to the role and have all relevant ADNOC and other HSE-related certifications and approvals in hand.

Qualified for the Role
• The candidate must be fully qualified for the position, holding certifications such as:
• Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OTHM)
• NEBOSH IGC Levels 1, 2, 3
• ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

Additional qualifications like OSHA and incident investigation certifications are advantageous.

Salary:
AED 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
