HSE Officer - Oil and Gas

Job description / Role

My client is a leading international contractor who specialise in the construction of oil and gas facilities and marine projects. They are currently looking to recruit experienced HSE Officers to work on a project in Abu Dhabi. The role will include the following;

- Assist the HSE manager.
- Apply and implements the companies IMS throughout the project.
- Ensure that all activities, whether executed by the company personnel or subcontractor personnel are carried out with full regard to the company HSE policy.
- Ensure that all personnel are advised of HSE hazards by delivering induction courses and toolbox talks.
- Assists in the investigation of all accidents or near misses.

Requirements

Candidates should have a bachelors degree in a health and safety, construction or engineering related field and must be NEBOSH certified. Candidates should be able to show further HSE related training and qualifications and must have at least 5 years industry experience with at least 2 years of which being in monitoring HSE implementation in oil and gas industry. Oil and gas construction and commissioning experience is preferred but offshore experience is a must and previous experience of ADCO projects is beneficial.
