Job description / Role
• Monitor, Maintain and continually improve the integrated management system based on ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISM Code, ISPS and MLC requirements.
• Ensure Quality compliance with industry and customer requirements.
• Build channels of communication with employees so that HSE matters can be discussed e.g. verbal contract and formal meetings.
• Ensure that the arrangements made, or first aid provisions are appropriate to the hazards and risks involved and have been brought to the attention of all employees.
• Ensure all injury accidents are recorded and reported to the HSEQ Manager.
• Ensure that all activities are covered by safe systems of working, periodically reviewing each system for accuracy and content.
• Provide general oversight of all Company Quality related matters.
• Responsibility for outlining the strategy for the Company’s Quality Program
• Implements Quality Policies and Programs.
• Validates quality requirements at the time of bidding projects and at the time of project award.
• Promote a Quality culture for Continuous Improvement
• Control and Maintain company IMS documentation.
• Communitation of changes about the IMS documentation to the relevant parties.
• Periodic review of HSEQ related documents and coordination with other departments for review and updating IMS documents.
Requirements:
Competency Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree
• NEBOSH – IGC
• Internal/Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & ISM Code)
• Train the Trainer
• Incident Investigation Training
• Risk Assessment Course
• Knowledge of ISM / ISPS / MLC & Maritime industry
Experience: Minimum 3-year operational experience as a similar function/position. Must have held an appropriate background in marine/port / offshore operations or equivalent
Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing internally & externally with Clients.
• Training, Auditing & Investigation skills
• Deals well with high pressure
• Assertive & Interpersonal skills
• Flexible (Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work).
