Human Resources Director, ICLDC (UAE National)

The Challenge

Ultimately you will become the 'right hand' of the senior leaders for all Human Resources (HR) topics, you will

Establish credible relationships with the ICLDC Leadership Team acting as their advisor on all aspects of Human Resources.

Understand their strategic business and people challenges, translate these into People Plans and deliver or manage execution of the plan to enable the ICLDC to achieve its targets.

Lead and ensure excellence in all aspects of Human Resources service delivery to ICLDC across the full spectrum of HR Services to the business and people.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Leadership: be part of the ICLDC Leadership team, contribute to the development of business strategy and become their Trusted Advisor for HR Best Practice.
- Business Engagement: , achieve in-depth understanding of business, operating models, the market place, their needs relative to People & Organization.
- Strategy: develop the People Plan and HR Policies to ensure the business and its people are engaged, motivated and enabled to deliver the Business Strategy
- Drive the development of Culture, Values and Behaviors in the Business
- Operations: lead and manage the delivery of HR Programs and Services to the Business and People.
- Ensure compliance with ICLDC HR Policy and all social or labor law in countries of operations.
- Continuous Improvement: review HR service delivery identify opportunities to improve and work with HR teams to improve service delivery.
- Customer Experience: ensure that all Executives, Managers and Employees have an excellent experience with Human Resources
- Team Engagement: ensure that all team members are highly motivated and effectively supported to be successful in their roles and career with ICLDC .

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and experience

- Degree educated (or equivalent work experience) preferably with further accreditations in Human Resources
- 10+ years' experience as an HR generalist with exposure across specialist areas of HR
- 5+ year's leadership, people management experience.
- Previous experience in strategic HR roles, with a proven ability to set strategy and deliver the plan achieve a positive business impact.
- Proven track record of managing and driving change programs and rolling out HR initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead delivery of HR Operational services ensuring excellent customer experience.
- Strong business acumen with experience working in more than one industry sector, business models.
- Experience of a start-up environment
- Able to engage, report and influence at Board Level
