Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The division HR Generalist will be responsible for overseeing and implementing employee relations, payroll and leave processing, workforce planning, recruitment coordination and onboarding, employee administration, performance management and training, government relations, incentive schemes, and HRIS in partnership with division Management Group Human Resources Manager, and Group HR Department.

Main responsibilities:
- Manage employee timesheets and process payroll accurately and on time ensuring accurate deductions, adjustments, and leave calculation
- Prepare the division HR annual budget in consultation with and for the review of the Group Human Resources Manager and Operations Manager and report/seek approval for variances on a timely basis
- Administer a comprehensive integrated human resource management program for the division and act as a focal point for all division HR operations
- Work with Talent Acquisition Specialist and Managers to ensure hiring ‘best-in-class- talent’ to facilitate achievement of business objectives
- Work closely with the PRO to ensure that all government relations processes are implemented in a cost-effective and timely manner
- Be responsible for employee engagement and wellbeing and work to provide a supportive work environment
- Work closely with all divisions and departments in a consultancy role, assisting managers and employees in understanding and implementing HR projects and policies
- Ensure that all divisional HR activities comply with relevant Labour laws and regulations, and company ethical standards in the countries of operation
- Escalate legal and compliance matters to Group HR Manager for consultation with Operations Manager and General Counsel
- Coordinate and report recruitment and onboarding status against the approved HR budget to the Operations Manager and the Group HR Manager on a monthly basis and coordinate with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to close any gaps through internal / external recruitment
- Monitor on a regular basis all employee movements and headcount, including recruitment, terminations and resignations, transfers, promotions, replacements, etc. ensuring they are in line with the approved HR budget and policies
- Manage the performance appraisal process for the division under the guidance of the Operations Manager and Group HR Manager
- Manage employee relations and act as point of contact for employee questions and grievances, understanding local employment legislation, compliance requirements and changes impacting the workforce, and providing advice and information to managers relating to all aspects of employment
- Lead the annual employee compensation reviews for the Division in conjunction with Operations Manager and Group HR Manager
- Provide advice to employees and hiring managers on entitled compensation and benefits, salary packages and market information in coordination with Group HR Manager

Reporting to: Operations Manager and Group HR Manager

Requirements

- University degree in business administration or social sciences from a recognized university
- Other certifications obtained: CIPD, SPHR
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
