HVAC QC Engineer

Overview

Develop and implement quality control procedures and checklists to streamline the inspection process and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed testing of HVAC systems, including airflow, pressure, and temperature assessments, to validate system performance and efficiency.
• Review and analyze technical documentation, including design plans and equipment specifications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken, ensuring documentation is readily accessible for audits.
• Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies to enhance quality control practices and compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related insights and recommendations to enhance overall project execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential for a foundational understanding of HVAC systems.
• Certification in HVAC quality control, such as ASHRAE or LEED, is highly desirable to validate expertise in industry standards.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC quality control or inspection ensures practical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
