Job Title: HVAC+R Maintenance Technician

Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Overview:

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking an HVAC+R Maintenance Technician to ensure optimal performance of HVAC and refrigeration systems. This role is critical in maintaining equipment that supports food safety, quality, and continuous production. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient operation.
• Ensure all systems meet food safety standards and adhere to GMP and HACCP guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule repairs with minimal downtime.
• Follow strict safety protocols during all maintenance operations.
• Provide rapid response and support during emergency breakdowns.
• Order and manage inventory of spare parts for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Update documentation and maintenance logs in accordance with company policies

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Technical certification in Mechanical, HVAC, or Refrigeration Maintenance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC+R maintenance, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and documentation practices.
• Understanding of food safety standards is an advantage.
