What you will be doing:
- Responsible for routine inspections of the hotel in terms of receiving/storing and food preparation.
- Conduct regular inspections and audit the hotel premises to ensure strict compliance to food safety and the HACCP structure.
- Responsible for auditing the internal operations as well as our external suppliers.
- Managing the overall health and safety & food safety within the hotel.
- Actively reduce guest complaints relating to health and safety and food hygiene.
- Liaise with outside contractors and sales staff on matters of food safety.
- Assist in carrying out food poisoning investigations as required and analysing Hazard Analysis information.
- Monitor and document results following food safety audits.
- Monitor and interpret microbiological results from food sampling of all hotel kitchens and advise the Executive Chef accordingly.
- Assist the Executive Chef & Chief Steward to take care of pest control in all public areas and F&B related areas excepting rooms.
- Maintaining monthly training records and providing records of attendance.
- Assist in the hotel in environmental awareness & be the champion for the hotel.
- Assist the management in HACCP standards certifications/re-certifications.
- Participate in regular meetings and briefings as scheduled.
- Understand and abide by all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations.
- Participate in any scheduled training and development programs that may improve personal or departmental standards.
- Report to duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:
- Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with the team and deliver consistently.
