WSP Middle East Building Services is currently looking to appoint an iCRC ME Leader. Reporting to the Building Services Leadership team and supporting the iCRC Building Services Leads, this position will be responsible for interfacing between our rapidly growing iCRC teams both in Noida & Bengaluru to further support our continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will become a member of the BServs Leadership Team and will be accountable for growth through successful recruitment, technical excellence, people leadership and development and supporting the P&L of the Building Services team

All applicants should demonstrate the competencies required for leading, delivering successful projects as MEP lead, developing and embedding a strong culture around a technically excellent delivery model, with a focus on client care and our people, amongst other core responsibilities.

Successful applicants would be an existing key WSP MEP lead and would be expected to "pitch" for this role through a presentation to Building Services Leadership team.

Your new role, what's involved?

The key responsibilities for this role will be as below but not limited to:

Design support

* Continue to develop teams to handle projects from inception to completion providing a competitive edge on technical and project margins.
* Develop appropriate systems and procedures in conjunction with Building Services Leadership team to inculcate a habit of planning of resources and execution.
* Integrate procedures and formats enabling a future target of iCRC submitting design packages to Clients / IDD directly. This process shall include completion of scope, internal F3 reviews, BIM QA/QC and package delivered to ME directly with limited support.
* Improve overall review process in conjunction with Building Services Leadership.
* Create and maintain an atmosphere where people want to work and encourage all employees to perform at the highest level and progress their careers. Retaining our WSP people is a key driver to this role.
* Set expectations and performance standards and drive project performance to meet milestones, deadlines, and quality objectives
* Support I3D and Digital Engineering excellence by driving efficiency through reduction of manual work through innovation & automation.

Supervision support

* Develop a team to support our Supervision ME team in shop drawing reviews, materials submittals and RFIs with the future goal of providing leave cover in EE when required.
* Ensure continuity of the design teams to support supervision
* Where feasible, involve iCRC team for online meetings with contractor to face and understand how project situations are handled by supervision team

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* A minimum of 12 years experience in handling and leading projects from concept to construction
* Ability to lead and thrive in a fast paced environment. Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation
* Decision maker and pro-active leader capable of having a clear vision around what is required to plan for and deliver our key projects and supplement our staff with top talent
* Reputation for spearheading innovative ideas and implementing standards, policies, and procedures across a series of teams or groups
